The fresh mountain air and stunning vistas create the perfect environment for deep relaxation and rejuvenation. Picture yourself hiking along scenic trails, exploring the lush landscapes and finding tranquility in the embrace of nature.
On this retreat, guests will enjoy a blend of sacred Nepali practices including meditations, yoga, sound healing and blessings.

Retreat Overview
Maitrī, meaning benevolence and loving-kindness in Sanskrit, encapsulates the retreat's essence. It invites participants to open their hearts, not only to others but also to themselves, recognising that through acts of kindness and service, true healing and self-love can be achieved.
Guided by principles drawn from Buddhism, the retreat encourages reflection on how to integrate ancient teachings into everyday life, fostering resilience, self-love and personal growth.
Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Pokhara's natural landscapes and verdant gardens, the retreat emphasises a profound connection with nature. Participants are invited to engage in guided mountain meditations, in enchanting locations such as forest clearings and atop mountain summits, drawing inspiration from the symbolism of the Himalayan peaks, which serve as a metaphor for strength and grounding inner peace.
Amidst daily transformative practices, we also carve out room for light-heartedness and joy. Laughter echoes through this retreat, especially during the culinary competition, where we unlock our inner fun and camaraderie.
Together, we will delight in a plant-based menu curated by The Big Love’s chef Katie Wiggall, who will collaborate with the Pavilions’ own chef, promising a culinary experience that is both healthy and flavourful.
The journey we will embark on together is deeply rooted in regenerative practices. As we open our hearts to Ayurvedic treatments and savour seasonal organic vegetables, we will contribute not only to personal wellbeing but also to the sustainability of the environment.
Under the guidance of renowned wellness professionals including Elizabeth Huxtable, Krunal Prajapti (PURE Yoga Singapore), Shyam Gurung, Mangal Gurung and Dr Cody Edene, this retreat promises an enriching and uplifting experience.
Join us for Maitrī Mountain Blessings: Kindness in Every Breath and experience the transformative power of love, kindness and healing in the heart of the Himalayas.
